Galileo Teacher Training Program (GTTP)

gttp_logoThe goal of the Galileo Teacher Training Program (GTTP) is to train teachers in the effective use and transfer of astronomy tools and existing resources freely available on the internet, into classroom science curricula. Through workshops, online training tools and basic education kits, the products and techniques developed by this programme can be adapted to reach locations with few resources.

Universe Awareness (UNAWE)

unaweUniverse Awareness (UNAWE) uses the beauty and grandeur of the Universe to encourage young children (between 4 and 10 years old), particularly those from an underprivileged background, to develop an interest in science and technology. The programme also aims to use the cultural aspects of astronomy to foster a child’s sense of global citizenship from the earliest age.
